CATHEDRAL WINDOW GELATIN

Cathedral Window Gelatin is a colorful, creamy and easy to make gelatin dessert. This recipe is made of three colored gelatin in a creamy gelatin mixture.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack unflavored red jelly powder
  • 1 pack unflavored yellow jelly powder
  • 1 pack unflavored green jelly powder
  • ¼ cup sugar (for each colored jelly powder)
  • 3 cups water (for each colored jelly powder)
  • 1 pack unflavored clear jelly powder
  • 1 pack all purpose cream 250 ml
  • 1 cup condensed milk (adjust if needed)
  • ½ cup sugar (adjust if needed)
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 4 cups water

Procedures:

  • In a pot, combine a pack of unflavored red jelly powder, sugar and water. Stir until jelly powder and sugar are dissolved. Turn on to medium heat, bring to a gentle simmer. Remove from heat. Pour into a baking pan. Refrigerate to cool and set the gelatin.
  • In a pot, combine a pack of unflavored green jelly powder, sugar and water. Stir until jelly powder and sugar are dissolved. Turn on to medium heat, bring to a gentle simmer. Remove from heat. Pour into a baking pan. Refrigerate to cool and set the gelatin.
  • In a pot, combine a pack of unflavored yellow jelly powder, sugar and water. Stir until jelly powder and sugar are dissolved. Turn on to medium heat, bring to a gentle simmer. Remove from heat. Pour into a baking pan. Refrigerate to cool and set the gelatin.
  • When the gelatin are set and firm, cut into small cubes.
  • In a pot, combine a pack of unflavored clear jelly powder, sugar, all purpose cream, condensed milk, evaporated milk and water. Stir until jelly powder and sugar are dissolved. Turn on to medium heat, bring to a gentle simmer. Remove from heat.
  • Add all purpose cream, condensed milk and evaporated milk. Stir well.
  • Pour half of the creamy gelatin mixture into a bundt pan.
  • Drop the red, green and yellow cubed gelatin into the creamy gelatin. Pour again the creamy gelatin mixture.
  • Drop again the red, green and yellow cubed gelatin. Then, pour the remaining creamy gelatin mixture.
  • Refrigerate until the gelatin are set and firm.
