Ingredients:
For Marinate
- 4 pcs chicken fillet
- 2 tbsp garlic, minced
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- ½ tsp salt
For Batter
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup cornstarch
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 large egg
- 3 tbsp drinking water
- pinch of ground black pepper
For Coating
- 2 cups bread crumbs (add more if needed)

Procedure:
- Cut the chicken into thin slices.
- For Marinate: In a bowl, combine the chicken, minced garlic, salt, ground black pepper, vinegar and oyster sauce. Mix well until combined. Marinate for at least an hour or overnight.
- For Batter: In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, baking powder, garlic powder, paprika and ground black pepper. Mix until combined. Add egg and water. Mix until well combined. Mix until smooth.
- After marinating, coat the chicken with the batter. Mix until well combined.
- Coat all the chicken with bread crumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the chicken over medium heat.
- Turn the chicken over as needed. Cook until golden crisp.
- Drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
- Serve with steamed rice or with your favorite dipping sauce.
