CREAMY PANDAN SAGO JELLY

Creamy Pandan Sago Jelly is a delicious, simple and very easy to prepare dessert for the holidays or any special occasions. The kids will definitely love it (kids-at-heart too).

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack (25g) green unflavored jelly powder
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tsp buko pandan flavoring

Creamy Jelly Mixture

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 pack (250ml) all-purpose cream
  • 1 pack (25g) white unflavored jelly powder
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup small sago

Procedure:

  • In a pot, combine the green jelly powder, sugar, water and buko pandan flavoring.
  • Stir until jelly powder and sugar are dissolved.
  • Cook over medium heat. Stir constantly.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer. Turn off heat.
  • Pour in a clean container. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Cut the jelly into cubes.
  • In a pot, boil 5 cups of water.
  • Add the small sago (tapioca pearls).
  • Stir constantly to prevent sago from sticking together.
  • Cook for 15 minutes over low heat. Turn off heat.
  • Rinse with water. Drain and set aside.

Creamy Jelly Mixture

  • In a pot, combine water, condensed milk, all-purpose cream, white jelly powder and sugar. Stir constantly.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer. Turn off heat.

Assembly

  • In a bundt pan, put some of the cubed jelly.
  • Add some cooked tapioca pearls.
  • Pour some of the creamy jelly mixture.
  • Add some of the cubed jelly, tapioca pearls and creamy jelly mixture.
  • Add the remaining jelly, tapioca pearls and creamy jelly mixture.
  • Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
  • Share and enjoy!
